The thing is he would still be at peak popularity if he stayed consistent and stopped self sabotaging himself with antics outside music(looking at that recent walk off stage incident)

He released C5 which was a step in the right direction then followed that up with Funeral and a joint album with a mumble rapper that no one asked for.

How many years have fans wanted a joint album with Drake? Instead we got Trust Fund Babies. The album was so shit and irrelevant that the entire hip hop culture doesn't even acknowledge or speak on it. It just came and went.

Wayne has done a thousand verses so I'm not expecting him to give 10/10's over the course of 28 years but he's doing shit backwards.
Features get better verses then his own fucking projects! Why is a Carter album getting shit like Kat Food????
Meanwhile Benny The Butcher about to get one of the best verses Wayne dropped in like the last 5 years...make it make sense.

At his age(40) he's wildly considered a Hip Hop legend. He needs to act like it with his music. He wants a radio hit? Do something like Seeing Green where he's rapping, rapping. Fuck this autotune pop shit.

He tries so hard to fit in with this generation of rappers he helped birth and its annoying as fuck. Just rap your ass off and your REAL fans and Hip Hop will respect you for it. Someone from one of the discord AMAs said Mack Maine fought for Life of Mr Carter and WAYNE said NO. There was also an article saying how Mack got Dont Cry, Cant Be Broken, What About Me, and Dark Side of the moon for example.
