Carter VI deluxe version?????

So with Tha fix dropping today and we all listen and pick out our favorite tracks (mine are “to the bank” “slip” “no new bitches” “Kat food” honorable mention to “Tuxedo”)

im thinking, 1. This is basically the deluxe version of the album right? Remember he (Wayne) said it’s songs that were going to be on the album and songs he recorded just for this project, sounds like a deluxe album to me only he gave it to us first. I don’t think they will give us the fix, the Carter and also a deluxe but what do you all think?

2. I’m also thinking how long do they think this project will hold us over? I seen ppl in the comments saying they felt like Tha Carter VI was probably really supposed to come out today and I’m starting to believe it because they couldn’t make clearances in time and gave us the “deluxe” instead. But they know this won’t hold us over but a month max so I feel like Tha VI is coming very soon which is holding up collegrove 2 which will follow up.

i think this was leftovers from C6 and probably most of it was actually recorded for IANAHB3

I think most of these songs were intended for IANAHB3. Wayne probably didn’t start working on Carter 6 until after he made that announcement at the OVO Fest. Collegrove 2 will be out December & Carter 6 will have 2024 Fall Release since his birthday will be on Friday & 6th year anniversary for Carter V

depends on the samples getting cleared. collegrove 2 has took years to get samples cleared. c6 might be the same
