What does that mean? There are so many artists who have done it without dropping music or doing anything noticeable for years and years prior.

I swear people just start believing what they see repeated on the internet by this hive mind public. "Wayne doesn't deserve it" "Wayne is on too many drugs" "Wayne is a bad performer", meanwhile everyone who has been to an actual Wayne concert says he's a brilliant performer. Then people like Charlemagne talking about him being late to one or two out of the tens or dozens of shows he does in a year. People just love to hate on Wayne unlike any other legendary artist, it's incredible, been like this since I became a fan in 2007/8

I don't think there has even been a more annoying fanbase in hip hop than Kendrick Lamar fans. Even Eminem fans were never this bad. They act like this guy was sent by heaven to save them and behave like religious fanatics.
