  • Where does Lil Wayne go from here?

with the criticism over tha carter 6 and lower sales than they expected, where do you think wayne will go next?

could he call it quits and focus on becoming a mid skateboarder or mid sports analyst

or come back stronger with a new project? and if he does, how long do you think we could be waiting for it?

with the superbowl disappointment, i thought wayne might have a lot to say on c6 and let out his anger/emotion in songs.... but he didnt

i think wayne needs to go in the vault and officially release older songs like he did with 'ya dig'. get 'kings and queens' on streaming. the og version of 'hasta la vista' too

Wayne will not retire. Hopefully the low sales make him more hungry.

in what sense to go back into vault though? Just to release and please the die hards left? Or to try and get a 'hit' out of his older stuff? Because if you meant for the latter reason, Ya Dig didnt move the needle at all in that regard, and neither did The Days.

Honestly the mans been rapping 30 years at this point, his first project ever turns 30 next month, output was going to slow, will the low sales light a fire under his ass? I seriously doubt it, he may not like it and get mad but, I don't see it lighting a fire in him anymore

And he doesn't really care for the criticism online as much like Eminem does when his shit gets trashed so.

I think we're going into a drought, he's going on tour in July, I don't see much coming in the future except features

I'm personally cool off Wayne musically atm, and after that horrendous album I'm pretty sure many people won't tune in to whatever he drops next even if it's heat. If not quit he should definately take a break.

Part of the issue is that he release too much music. He got nothing new to say in his music, and its hilarious because he tried to push back on Andre 3k saying he was too old and didn't know what to rap about only to release an album with the same tired rhymes and subject matter.

Should have listened to 3 stacks.

He can't retire after C6. Wayne needs something strong and more personal. I'm hope for the last project with outro song called ,,Wayne Quit" in reference to C3 Mr. Carter verse.

He needs to relax until late 26 and drop a dope ep. No hype to it. Damn near needs to be a shock drop. Limit his features to songs that are dope and not just his verse in between.

As far his next album. He needs to link with a producer who he respects and with equal or greater stature. Also who is not a fan of his. Although after this backlash they may not matter anymore. Lock in to making an album and just recording songs and figuring it out at the end.

I'm not sure at all. But I do want him to continue to release new music. But my worry is he will go to features only for a few years.

I'm sure legacy will be in the back of his mind.
