For me he's the best . i started listening to his songs when i was depressed and songs like "I feel like dying' would make me feel better. so hes not just a rapper to me , hes a ... an inspiration? i guess . lol thats real talk right there.

As I said music is about taste.To consider someone GOAT is about impact.Em's impact by FAR GREATEST EVER.
Just look who is Eminem in small countries like Switzerland or in Latin Countries like Brazil with so many fans.In these countries they don't even know who is Tupac,Biggie,Big Daddy Kane or Wayne.But look if they know Eminem.

We don't really know who's the greatest rapper alive.. fame is not everything,because there are ALOT of underground rappers that can kill anyone in a rap battle

Eminem is probably the best rapper from all those popular ones,he haves a great flow,deep lyrics,good at freestyling and he's flawless when he raps live.

We don't really know who's the greatest rapper alive.. fame is not everything,because there are ALOT of underground rappers that can kill anyone in a rap battle

Eminem is probably the best rapper from all those popular ones,he haves a great flow,deep lyrics,good at freestyling and he's flawless when he raps live.

but hes so onesided, only type songs he have is like: Sad, Hard, Funny, Weird & Cold Murder

I would say either Em, Wayne, or Lupe..i would say Lupe but I like Em and Waynes "Flow" alot better..if it were just based on lyrics i would go with Lupe but for now ill give it to Eminem..i think Wayne is very close and can pass Em though

Okay I'm going to come in here with an open mind but I am definitely a Ye fan.

I was just wondering after reading so many posts from people here, why they love Lil Wayne so much.

All his hits on the radio, are awful (my opinion). I am not trying to troll but in most of his songs, its corny metaphors that gets annoying. Then you add on the things he talks about, Sex, Money...

To me personally, his lyrics have no substance and it is not really soulful.

Even his most recent feature on that Jennifer Lopez song he goes..
I'm so wet, I need wet suit
I'm falling for you, I need a parachute.

I didn't come in here to bash Wayne but was wondering what is there to like, and I really want understand the perspectives which is why I am here to be honest.

Shit like he is a hard worker...man most artists are hard workings. I know for a fact Kanye works just as hard as Wayne.

So please, enlighten me.
