What an eye opener this thread is. I've noticed it before, I don't like it, but it never really sticks out. I'm just glad he isn't on some Relapse Eminem stuff.

I Agree With Whoever Said That His Dedication 1 Voice Was One Of His Best.

His voice is his voice. Never been ordinary, always changing. Never gets boring.
However it sounds im always gonna hear wtf he's saying.

I think his prime, was Da Drought 3. I mean, "Put Some Keys On That" is just INSANE, along with the rest of the mixtape.

But, voice wise, I love the auto-tune era. I know it isn't his lyrical prime, but I like to listen to it and just chill. Songs like, Do It For The Boy, Thinking To Myself, In The Morning, Demolition Freestyles, etc. are some of my favorites, having both good(not his best) lyrics and satisfying to listen to.

Bahaha true story. Thankfully Wayne didn't hold on to his fake Jamaican accent like Eminem did with his...whatever...accent.

This is gonna sound bad and I'll probably get some hate for this, but tbh I didn't start listening to Wayne because of the content of his lyrics. It was because his voice always flowed so well over the beats and made it easy to sit back and listen to. Even though he's better lyrically now, I think if I had just stumbled across Wayne for the first time, I honestly wouldn't become as big of a fan as I am now simply because he sounds like those chipmunk songs on YouTube.

Like some of yall have said...robizzle and co. he is gettign back into fform very quickly. The new energy is better than ever.

Even little things like the live version of some songs the way he raps them now has changed for the better. Thats that flow niggas...

I hope he gets back to the voice he had on "Get Over" "Lock and Load" "Trouble"

The reason why 6'7' was so annoying to listen to was the high pitched voice and the beat, lyrically, fine there is not story or progression through the song, just random punchlines, but i would generally overlook that. They need to get rid of the high pitched crap though.
