Gotta agree with you ma man. This the simply his greatest work ever imo. None of the songs is bad, and there is a song for every mood. You know something like Money On My Mind, Best Rapper Alive and Im A DBoy goes fucking hard while you can listen to Mo Fire, Grown Man or Hustler Musik while just chilling or something lulz.

Same with Carter I... I fucking love that album! His old stuff is slept on...

Re: Carter II is a classic

wait couple years, C2 & C3 gonna be important classics like Illmatic, Blueprint, Ready To Die etc. people these days don't understand Wayne's phenomenon, because of Lollipop (which is great track for clubs) and features with famous pop stars, they gonna forget it and look at him from diffrent point of view.

In ten years (especially if he's actually gonna be retired by then) people will look back and regard him as one of the top lyricists of the post-Pac/Biggie era. I would bet everything I own on that.

C2 is amazing, there is not a single bad song in that album.. Personal favorites from the album are shooter, hustler musik and (tho from the C2.5 mixtape from datpiff) the original version of fireman, that shit was raw as hell. Btw D2/DD3 are his classic mixtapes. Atleast IMO.

I don't know what your talking about wayne getting bad after C3 tho, Rebirth was exactly what it was meant to be, with some good bangers.
(On Fire, Drop the World, Prom Queen, Hot Revolver and ofc DaDaDa for pure chilling.)

And about IANAHB also did what it was supposed to do, to top lists while his in prison. And again bangers. (Hold Up, Bill Gates n Right Above it)

Then theres 30mins to NO n 6f7f. etc etc
if thats directed at what i said about him then that's not what i said at all. i never said he got worse. i said more and more people said he was whack. i enjoyed Rebirth and IANAHB and i think when artists try to bridge the gaps between genre's its always something to pay attention to. i totally support him in trying to brand out into rock. also IANAHB was dope. definitely some really good songs on there. what i meant was that people who look to Wayne for only material like on C3 didn't find what they were looking for. which is fine with me, i think Wayne has stayed relevant for so long because he can change himself to fit the situation. i mean take C2: awesome album, you can hear the emotion in songs where he wanted it to show and he had bangers as well. then there's C3: bangers (of course) as well as songs that shot him into mainstream. then he takes on a rock influence for Rebirth: still bangers and other songs where (if you pay attention like most people don't) you can tell that he actually is doing more than just rapping/singing on songs. he actually showed progression in his musical talent. that's actually when he became an artist instead of a rapper to me. then there's IANAHB with (you got it!) bangers, and songs that meant something to him (That Ain't Me) and still went gold while he was in prison. most rappers don't even go gold thanks to the internet and lack of promo. and now that he is forced to be sober he is now changing his music again for C4 and all his features. so i definitely agree with what you said, but i don't think you understood what i said.

sorry for rambling, just wanted to explain fully lol.

For me Tha Carter III will probably always be my favourite as I've said before it's the album that got me into Lil Wayne the most. But regardless I completely agree with you there the album is actually amazing in every way. Good call!

The entire album is just so polished, listen front to back and enjoy. Definitely Wayne's best entire album to date, no question. Have to see what the Carter IV has in store for us.
