When counting first week sales, are the final number digital sales or does stores and shit count? Like back to C3 did it sell 1 mill over internet?
Cuz if itīs just digital numbers and wayne had like 300 yesterday I donīt think weīll se that A Milli coming again

The 300k you're talking about is the record for iTunes first week sales (meaning it sold more than CIII, etc.). Is 300k the all-time record for first week sales?

I still doesnt know if the first week sales are sales from Spotify, Itunes and Other sites or if they have the ability to count storesales around the US...

Come on man, be logical here. iTunes is by far the most popular place to purchase music digitally. Lady Gaga sold less than 300k on iTunes in her first week. Her overall first week sales were 1.1M. Do you really think she sold 850k+ in a week from other sites that aren't iTunes?



Every purchase made in a store in the United States, either physical or digital, counts towards your sales total.

Yeah it's called "Loss Leaders" It's actually a very smart business move. Beacause they can afford to lose money on it being such a big company it was a marketing trick to get more people aware of there AmazonMP3 store so they can compete with iTunes
