I've noticed that lately all some people do around here is talk a about how bad Wayne has become, to the point where they aren't even looking forward to new music from him. I agree that C4 definitely was not up to par with C2 or even C3. But I do believe that somewhere in him is the ability to make better quality tunes, and I still support him as an artist.

I'll probably get called a dick rider by a few people, but to me it's more expressing that I still like Wayne even after C4, and have not written him off entirely as a rapper. Though apparently it has become cool now to act like Wayne is the worst rapper in the game on these forums lol

I Enjoy Wayne as an artist. He is no longer a hip hop rapper to me. He is an artist.

An icon, if you will. He will never get old to me. Yes, he's created better albums, but c'mon people. You can't say C4 was a bad album. I'm sure half the songs he written in jail didn't make the cut (unknown reasons) and the rest, is just him having fun.

You're right and all that, but I won't support an artist who is notorious for "working hard" and doesn't even notice when touring, and performing his older songs, that his lyrics are garbage now. If you actually listen to anyone else in the rap game he's one of the worst lyricists right now. If he wasn't the one saying what he says, he would be laughed at for his lines by his fans. I'm looking forward to his new music, but seriously man, they need to revamp the whole Young Money, kick Mike Banger. Everyone bobbing their head like yeah, awesome verse wayne, out of this world, even for lines like "what comes around goes around like a hoola hoop" everyone in young money and the production team is ON HIS DICK, he's rapping off the fame now, he thought to himself "OK I was a legend, I proved myself and all that, now I'll talk about shit like "I'm the shit, my goons are gonna leave you laying, you niggas are wack, and what life is; in lame methaphors"
wayne is slipping heavy, but I still have hope because most of of C4 was done before jail or 2011 may (when it was supposed to come out)

I think people in his camp are afraid to tell him that he fell off because they either dont wanna get kicked out his circle or they dont want to get "told off". He needs a majority of ppl to tell him, his mama or his daughter, because that's the only way he's gonna listen. You cant have a random person tell him "you fell off" because he hears that everyday
