The album coped WAAAY to much hate it had some pretty dope tracks like she will 6 foot 7 foot and john how to love wasent to bad i like the view had a mad as chrous it wasent that bad i do admit some lines on there were like reaaaaaaaaaaaally bad but yer it was overall a aight album hahah hopefully on his next project he'lll keep the good going hehe

It's not like that, ppl just expected too much from Wayne coz he came out of jail and everybody wanted that 2005-2007 raw Wayne.
And I remember jae mills said that Wayne is doing a new C2 which got everybody's hopes up to the sky.
The album wasn't bad, but it was disappointing as a lil Wayne album.

true that but like when lil wayne came outta jail he came out spitting fire on fire flame and then 6 foot 7 blew me out the water but yer haha it wasent his best cause i didnt feel the charisma i did in the c3 you know?

That was before Wayne decided to redo C4.
You gotta admit, lines like "we get higher (hi-ya), call that shit karate" is on some never-before-seen creativity type shit.

’11 Disappointing Albums: #1 Lil Wayne Tha Carter IV


Oh sweet irony. The largest selling rap album of last year is also the most disappointing. While Carter 3 solidified Weezy’s position as an all-time rap great, its floundering follow-up is filled with hit-and-miss bars, poor production choices and a plethora of guests who outshine the Young Money boss on the album’s best moments. “She Will” is all Drizzy Drake in all his hookman glory. Rick Ross remakes his own song on “John”. And Tech 9ne and Nas steal the scene on the “Interlude” and “Outro,” respectively. Sorry Bussa-Bus but this is far from classic material.
