Overall I thought the album was his best to date. He's clean and off the drugs for a while. He's not on syrup. His voice has changed a ton since Tha Carter III. He's more creative and puts more into his work. I hope he stays off the syrup. I mean yeah his voice was great back then. But he's more creative now.

please go do yourself a favor and listen to the mixtape the drought is over part 2, then get back to us on when he was most creative.

So what everyone else is saying is tha the needs to go back on the drugs and syrup to make his music? I look at it like this, his music was good while he was doing all that. I love every one of his songs. But, it wasn't all him. He was high when he made all of it. Half of it is him and half of it is the drugs effect on him. He's still creative isn't he? You guys are still listening to his music he is putting out. He's still good at making music and he's still a good rapper. Kind of seems like some people don't know what he is actually trying to say in his songs, like the deeper meaning in the lyrics.

Oh, and the drought is over part 2 isn't an official release from Tunechi. The songs on all the drought is over mixtapes are all from his sessions while recording Tha Carter III. Tunechi even said in an interview that he has never worked with The Empire.

weather or not it's an official release from lil wayne is aside from the point

my point is that wayne was most creative a couple years ago and while he was on sizzurp, drought is over 2 being my proof

But it's not him in the music. It's the drugs affecting him. Wouldn't you rather listen to the raw clean Wayne? He's putting more work in and thats what makes it better. He's still creative. He's still good. Back then, it was the drugs speaking through Wayne to the world. Now its Wayne talking to the world. Not the drugs.

you can't just smoke enough pot and sip enough syrup to have songs like Prostitute Flange (the original one) just flow out of you. that was wayne.

No. He did not make good music back then because he was on drugs. He made good music because he was thorough and meticulous yet paradoxically quick.

That is not true. If he stands by his opinion in the face of adversity, he will become a stronger person. Keep up the good work, Zane.
