    Part 2

    Lil Wayne
let XXL Magazine preview his forthcoming Tha Carter IV album, while they interviewed him for their July/August 2011 issue that will hit newsstands tomorrow (July 12th).

They say the Outro on the album will feature Nas, Shyne and Jadakiss, and also say Weezy‘s Young Money crew, Busta Rhymes, Bun B, Tech N9ne, Cee-Lo Green, John Legend, and Will.I.Am will all be featured on different songs on the album. XXL say that Swizz Beatz, Bangladesh, Polow Da Don and Boi-1da all provided beats too!
We won’t know if this list of names are really featured on C4 or not until we get the official tracklist, which hopefully should be soon. I also noticed Rick Ross wasn’t listed as a feature, so maybe “John (If I Die Today)” was scrapped from the album
Weezy says his How To Love single gives him goose bumps

    David Banner speaks on C4
“I worked on Tha Carter IV. Me and Wayne were in the studio together twice. Once in Miami and once in L.A. Where I am with artists now, it’s more about the relationship. Before we even do a record I want to talk to you. ‘Rubberband Man’ will always be a part of T.I.’s family and T.I.’s life. With artists being so disposable, I want to sit down like, ‘Man, how you doing?’ Wayne just got out of jail. Let me talk to you and see how you doing as a man.”
“Most artists who are on the level of Wayne, once they get to that level they try to go and get whatever major producer. He told me, ‘David, if you’ve got what it takes, you’re going to always be a part of Tha Carter shit.’ I respect that because there’s a lot of people who I was a part of their careers and it just didn’t happen no more, but I’m not saying no names. With Wayne, it’s not like you got a definite spot, but you definitely can come and fight for your spot, and that’s all I ever ask for.”
C4 PUSHED BACK AGAIN TO AUGUST THE 29TH
Looks like “John” featuring Rozay wasn’t picking up the steam it needed. The good folks over at Universal just let loose a new release date for Dwayne’s highly anticipated Carter IV which is now August 29th and not June 21st.

T3ch N9ne speaks on working with Lil Wayne
On working with Lil Wayne on a song for Tha Carter IV
“It was really enjoyable to see Wayne like what I do. I went down to Miami at their studio The Hit Factory. I got there late the first night, like at one. They got there at 12. I started writing it around one. Fell asleep at 2:30, left the studio, and said, ‘Yo, I’ve got to come back the next day.’ And then we came back the next night and I got to the studio and recorded it before they returned to the studio. So by the time he got to the studio, we already had it recorded with his engineer Mike Banger. So he got to hear it and he really enjoyed it—he listened to it like three times. He saluted me and everything. It was a beautiful feeling man. We did one song for Tha Carter IV and he’s doing one for my album. I mean, I can’t really describe the song we did, but it’s MCing, rapping. Just going. You know how he was doing ‘A Milli’ and it was just rapping? Boom. That’s what we did. We brought our MCs to the table. Rapping, motherfucker. We don’t have to have no certain subject, we were just going. I have no idea who produced the track. He didn’t even know.

Lil Wayne Crafts ‘Carter IV’ Single with Jim Jonsin, Pitbull

Lil Wayne is having another sweet craving. After the success of “Lollipop,” the YMCMB rapper has reteamed with producer Jim Jonsin for a successor to his chart-topping smash.

In an exclusive interview with Rap-Up.com, Jonsin reveals that he produced what will likely be the next single from Tha Carter IV, due June 21. “It’s got similarities to ‘Lollipop,’” says the hitmaker. “It’s just a little slower and it has similar sounds in it, so people may relate it to the step-brother of ‘Lollipop.’ It’s also [got] completely different melodies and chords.”
He shared two potential titles for the song, which are “Blows My Brains” and “She’s Always in My Head.”
Pitbull also contributed to the record, but it’s uncertain if he’ll appear on the final version. “Pitbull help me write the song,” adds Jonsin. “He has a verse and he did like a B-section on there, but I’m not sure if Wayne and Pit have agreed to keep him on there or what.”
In addition to Weezy, the super-producer is in talks to produce for Drake’s sophomore album Take Care and has his sights set on Nicki Minaj’s next project.

    Weezy Names C4 features

Weezy Says C4 Is Definitely Done

Tunechi Is Not Feeling The Beats Being Submitted For C4
Well, it’s not to late (referring to Justin Timberlake getting on C4). No, it ain’t. I just don’t have the record. These niggas’ beats been sucking. I’m putting it out there: you producers, what y’all doing? Get right, man. Step it up. This is coming from a rapper. One of the best rappers. I ain’t saying I’m the best no more, because these niggas is too good these days. I got old. But damn, y’all niggas’ beats is terrible! [Chad Ochocinco walks into the room] These niggas’ beats sound like Ochocino made them.

Wayne Talks To XXL about C4
XXL: Tha Carter IV is coming this summer. It’s probably the most anticipated album since Tha Carter III. It’s all wrapped up now?
Lil Wayne: Yeah, it is. I’m just chillin’ right now. Partyin’ with the Dallas Mavericks, and shit like that. Ain’t really doing too much right now.
How do you know when an album is done? When to stop?
You don’t. When they tell you. When ’Tez call me and tell me and say, “You got such and such date is your deadline to stop,” I be like, “Aight.” ’Cause I never stop recording, obviously. So it’s just on him to say, “Okay, stop. We’re gonna pick these songs, and that’s the album.” That’s how we do it.
I remember, before you went to prison, there was talk about there being a version of Tha Carter IV that was finished, that was going to be released the day you came home in November. Obviously, that never came out, and you’ve been recording a whole new version of the album since then. What’s going on with all of the old songs that you had?
We still think some of them deserve to be heard. So I revise ’em and go and touch ’em, see what I can do to make them better songs. And if that works, once I do that, we’ll use it. If not… Another thing what usually happens is, I usually listen to the song and be like, “Yeah, that’s too old. I don’t like that no more.” And Mack or another one of my artists will be like, “Nigga, you trippin’! Can I have it?” And it becomes their song. And other than that, the only other thing that happens is it ends up on my iPad, and I just listen to it forever. Y’all don’t hear it. [Laughs] A couple females hear it.
So now that the album’s done, artistically, the new songs, what can we expect? I know it’s really, like, no boundaries with you.
Yeah. Like I told somebody the other day, I’m not a situation rapper. I don’t make songs. Like, a lot of people go, “I make a song about this, what happened.” Perfect example, perfect song: Kanye’s “All of the Lights.” It’s a great song, but if you listen to the verses, he’s talking about some situation. I don’t know if he made the situation up; he may be talking about a situation we know about. I don’t know how to do that. I’m not a situation rapper. I can’t really speak about us sitting in this room right now, because my mind… I got ADD, I guess. When it’s time for me to create, I can’t sit and think about… After I think of one line, my mind done went to another subject.

      22nd or 29th
Some of those titles on the possible tracklist are really interesting.

considering wayne said august 29th like 5 times in his mixtape, i think its a safe bet that it will come on the 29th. however, it will probably leak around the 22nd.

Yeah, but the head of promotion said 22nd. Wayne doesn't even choose the final tracks for the album(If I'm correct), so I just assumed his date could be from misinformation.

          We'll find out soon enough

my thoughts on the tracklist are that its fake. names are too long , deluxe edition cannot possibly have only 2 songs... and one of them a single

---------- Post added at 09:47 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:45 PM ----------

for the record , i dont give a 2 shits about sales. i care about the music. not about how much money wayne makes . s4tw hyped me the fuck up for this

Yeah looks like this album could leak reeeeaally early lol since this is the 2nd "tracklist leak" of C4

Does anyone else think is fucking dope that it looks like we're getting 19/21 tracks? and most of em are solo Wayne, only 4 tracks with rapping features on the normal version
THIS AIN'T NOTHING TO RELATE TO.
