what do you guys think this song means? whos anne and how is she related to stan? and what is he saying to her?

i think hes writing her to simply thank her for being his number 1 fan because he felt bad what happened to stan. this is a song for the fans. hes saying we inspire him.

Im thinking hes just writing Anne one long letter, judging from him saying Page 1, Page 2 at the end of the first two verses. The letter is thanking her for being there for him and helping him get through shit. And I also think the Stan line was just paying homage to Eminem's version.

Maybe he was writing her the same time Stan was writing Eminem? Telling Wayne everything that was going on with Stan? And at the end he says sorry about Stan as in sorry for him going crazy over Eminem.
