Ok, maybe your not wrong for hating on the tape or calling it wack, cus everyone has an opinion but hear me out for a second....
First off I don't think you can compare this to No Ceilings, NC had a completely different aim and Wayne made it in a completely different way. Think about it, Wayne had released Rebirth which was not a rap album, and had loads of people saying he couldn't rap like he used to...how you think that made Wayne feel? So he went into the booth with the intention of proving he can rap by going hard as fukk over about 20 beats....
Now SFTW has a completely different purpose, take the name for what it is, Weezy made a short collection of songs (for free by the way), just to tide us over for the release of Tha Carter IV, which isn't even long away, and by then people would have forgotten about this mixtape. This tape is just a warm up for the main event, whereas NC was Wayne in full mixtape mode, and the tape WAS the main event.
Now onto the actual songs, how can anyone hate on Rollin'? He fukkin murdered it. Then Throwed Off, IMO his verse on there is one of his best flows in a long time. The track sorry 4 the wait is Wayne showing his versatility again and that's another fun track. Then there's Racks and Grove Street which he killed too.
This tape isn't on par with Drought 3 or No Ceilings, but I think comparing them in the first place is a mistake.
Bottom line: stop being so ungrateful, Weezy has spoilt his fans I think by releasing so much material over the years.
