Didn't he say he was done using it for now. And then that's when he started using that voice filter. How to Love and other songs with similar sounding vocals sounded more like they were using a different kind of pitch correction or a voice filter. I guess we'll never know unless we're in the studio with him.
No, that was definitely a voice filter lol. You can tell when it's autotune and when it's not. Although, some singers only use autotune to a certain extent to not make it noticeable (I don't even think Wayne's producers know how to do that; If they did, they would have done that a long time ago lol). But I don't think he was using autotune on that song.
i hope so lol, i mean i dont mind him on autotune once and a while, but when he uses it to much it gets annoying, i hope rebirth got him sick of using it aha
pretty sure he still fucks wit some type of auto-tune'ing device that alters his voice...
all you have to do is watch interviews, and compare the sound to S4TW.
