Wayne had the potential to be one of the greatest rappers ever imo, and by him venturing off into the other music, he dropped the quality of his music, that is not only my opinion, but that is many others opinion as well.

i see honestly if we woulda got Carter 4 after C3 as originally planned then DEAR GOD he woulda been the BEST EVER. but some how i think he still manged to be the best. Not the best rapper but the best to ever do it. i still feel hes the best anywase imo. but ur right he coulda been better. But imo hes coming back. His flow, spark, and delivery us coming back. Also his voice, its like a sport, u dnt play 4 a while, u gotta get back in rythim(Yeah its spelt wrong)

So I guess the industry wanted him to venture into the rock industry, right? I guess the reason he wanted to come out with an R&B album was because the industry pressured him into it. Yeah, because Rebirth sold really well. It brought a minimal amount of new fans and if he was just looking for more money he could have easily come out with C4 in place of Rebirth.

Yeah, I don't get it. Rebirth didn't "sell out." It didn't even go platinum.
