wayne puts out enough free music. he drops free mixtapes before and after pretty much every album he puts out. you'd think people would be willing to pay for the album if they had the money

Wayne makes minimal money off his albums, he probably could care less if you buy it or "steal" it, as long as you are listening. Artists make money off touring and appearances, not album sales. When you buy an album, a portion of the money goes to the store you are buying it from(bestbuy, itunes), the distributor that sends it out to physical stores, the record label(universal, etc), young money execs, then weezy, and that doesn't factor in paying for studio time, beats, production. If you support an artist, the best thing you can do is spread the word and go to their shows, that's where the money is made, along with merchandise. Simple as that.
