MBDTF had better production, but the whole tone of the album is dark. C4 will be much mroe replayable. I vote C4.

You only compared production... and then said it's a stupid thread. How is that not stupid in itself? What if one thinks the beats are excelently made but the mc'ing is weak and makes the album not replayable very much? Not to mention most of the album was heard before it was out.

u r seriously messed up if u think that the mc'ing on mbdtf was weak? the album had more content than c4's "pussyy fresher than baby powder" "money" "kidnapping bitches" "fucking hoes and bitches and calling them camel toes" and "blunt blowin"
mbdtf was new and creative as welll as innovative. c4 just a pile of shitty nonsense tracks put in a random order on a highly anticipated album.

all in all doesnt live up to any expectations, and last but not least, nas's last verse shat on the entire album.

Both were working on their albums for 2 years? I dunno bout Kanye but I'm pretty sure the scrapped nearly everything that was potential c4 material when Wayne come out of prison and started fresh so that makes it less than a year Wayne worked on Tha Carter 4! Just saying...

But My opinion would be biased as I am a loyal Wayne fan on a massive Wayne fan website so I'm always gonna back C4!

music is perspective . depending on the persons views, i dont like kanye as a person(too smug) but he does have some talent but i perfer lil wayne more unless theirs a mathematical formula showing a scale of how to value music untill then its the eye of the beholder|

Just my opinion (please don't shoot).

MBDTF > C4. I say this because I believe Kanye took the time to actually find a message he wanted to convey with his music and it came across beautifully. I was hoping to hear that from Wayne (especially post-prison) on C4 and we get that with President Carter, Mirror and Nightmares of the Bottom, but that's pretty much it. Weezy is my favorite rapper, but tbvh, Kanye crushed him. He had a great concept and ran with it while Wayne just made mostly bangers. Nothing wrong with that (I've been bumping C4 non-stop since Wednesday), but as an artist, Kanye is just better right now.

I think Wayne tries to go high concept at times and simply gets bored and gives up on it. Also, it doesn't help that YMCMB will accept anything he turns in (just listen to his "I Get Money" verse ). If Birdman really wants to be a father figure for Wayne, then he needs to tell his "son" when a verse is whack. Seriously. I love Weezy (punchlines and all), but overall as a complete artist, Kanye is better.

Again, it's just my opinion and if you agree/disagree, then that's totally fine.
