-It has too many stupid punchlines - ex: "I swear that pussy said thank you" / "I like my girl south and her ass north"

-Supa Dupa Flow. There's not too much of it, there shouldn't be any at all - ex: "Have it your way, Burger King" / and these are from the same fuckin' song and is said line-after-line "I get deep in that pussy, dig her out, surgery _ Fucking with a real nigga, fucking right, certainly _ Break in your fucking home, take your life, burglary"

-Too much pussy-eatin'/beatin' talk - ex: "Eat that pussy like... / That pussy tastes like..." - Well, ya already know the deal

-Too many songs with no subject put on the standard version - ex: Mirror and Novacane is both real great lyrically, and shows the best of '11-Wayne imo - Who knows, there's probably more great leftovers which Tez didn't put on the album, not even as a bonus smh.

-Wayne not on all songs - ex: Mirror and Novacane would've been the best of the album, but they don't end up on there. Instead does 2 songs NOT featuring Wayne. C'mon it could've been one long dope Outro instead of 3 songs and Wayne half-assed, no wait, more than that, he quarter-assed the Intro.

-Production is meh for me - ex: Why use an old beat (he did it aight though) and use a wack beat for 3 SONGS on the album? What the hell?

-The album is all over the place - ex: Wayne choose to call it Tha Carter, obviously refferin' to himself, therefore he doesn't have to think about a subject, he can't just record and send both great and wack songs to Tez and just let him randomly choose from it and put em on smfh.

-Tez/YMCMB sucks at - promoting, be true to the fans, not let the artist himself have more influenced (and if it's Wayne who said he don't want, he's an idiot), choose albumcovers, come up with new ideas (ppl is always joking with Tha Carter XI etc. and it shouldn't be like that).



-and no, I'm not searchin' for perfection here, just for an over-average album.

Carter IV is dissapointing because........

1. Weak Song Structure: 6'7, Megaman, Nightmares of the Bottom, It's Good - It's like Wayne said just throw on a beat and I am going to spew random subjects out and we gonna name the song one of the words that I happen to say in a verse. If this album had two tracks of Wayne just spitting it would have been a better album. On the mentioned songs 3 of them have no subject...just random rambling and dissconnected thoughts and metaphors.

2. Weak Lyrics: Lil Wayne is not perfect, he is not God, so I don't expect an album to be perfect lyrically (See: Reasonable Doubt or Illmatic) but in no way should Lil Wayne have let his wack line and lyrics outnumber the good ones. Wayne got to where he is because lyrically he was creative...he approached every song differently, he made you stand on the edge of your sit waiting to hear what he had next to say..his voice, his presence, his hunger could be felt in a verse...all those aspects that made Wayne great were missing from Tha Carter IV...Too many terrible lines " How you niggas want it have it your way burger king", But I put up a wall and they just wallpaper"...leave you thinking WTF is Wayne talking about...." and the worst one " but we get Hiyah call that shit karate"....You don't need a bus pass for me to buss your ass..." what the fuck is going on with Wayne is what ran through my head..

3. Repetition is the Father of Learning: I guess now I know what Wayne meant when he said that. WAYYYY TOOOO MUUUCCHHH REPITITION.. Life is a ___________, Fuck the Bullshit ____________, Young Money eating __________, Belly of the beast________, Fuck the world __________, We in the building ___________, ETC

4. Wack Flow(Supa Dupa Flow): Dude used to flow differently on every song...now if he flows different on one song I'm happy..the flow wasn't there...the rhyme patterns, the cadences, the weezy ad libs, the laughs, the "yah digs"....its like he was so disconnected from himself while making this album..Now on to the biggest problem way too much Puncline pause...shit...its not creative what so ever..and its borderline embarrassing.......its like i can say....." Nigga aint shit..toilet paper.....weed so loud...Max volume....Wayne a beast.....Lockness....shit like that is wack...like comeone Wayne its not hard to put thoughts together that connect...its like he raps a line..forgot what the fuck he said raps another line..adds a word at the end of it just to rhyme..and Life is a crazy bitch...grace jones..SMH...stop it wayne...please..

5. Laziness: T Pain wrote How to hate wayne just added two verse, Drake wrote she will Wayne just added two vere, Rick Ross' I'ma star was the preface for John Wayne just added two verse, Mirror was completed waiting on an aritst to add verse...no originality..its like Wayne had no choice or control on the subject or the content of those songs except for his verses...he should've been a bigger part of the song making process....helping with hooks, coming up with concepts and lending opinion....Sounds so copy and pasted

6. Wayne doesn't appear on the Premier tracks..Dumb ass idea TBH..the biggest rapper in the game and he doesnt go up against the likes of Dre and Nas...Come on Wayne that would've been so major for Hip Hop.. also if you think about the features he had Carter IV would have been 10 x better if they were rearranged (Ex: Lil Wayne ft. Andre 3k and Nas, Lil Wayne ft. Tech N9ne and Busta Rhymes,) (Lil Wayne ft. Bun B & Jadakiss)....those songs would've been that much doper...but

Conclusion Wayne dissapointed me with this album....the quality is horrible, the lyrics were worst, and the subject matter was non existent....

The beats were insane....I mean, I don't know dude. Watch the throne's production was top shelf.... but c4 matched it in that area to me. This shit SOUNDS like a classic.....but at the end of the day, the best way I can sum what I think about it is this: The singles were the worst songs on c3. It's the other way around with 4.
