Re: Did Wayne Really Fall Off?

Yall saying he fell off because of hunger? Nahhh I don't think so before he went to jail he was still killing it hard with songs such us no quitter, steady mobbin, kobe bryant, demolition's and etc. When he came home from jail I think he felt rushed in pressured and we all love Wayne not for his album songs, more for his leaks, freestyles, mixtapes and features because he goes in. We all know c3, c4 isn't the reason why we became his fans, it was the buzz, hype, and lyrics

If he still had that, not that many would hate when wayne did some new shit.

Thats What I'm Talkin About, is flow was much better, but his lyrics still as good or even better now. And I agree with you people, He's not hungry anymore, he feels like he doesn't have nothing to prove like he used to. Just listen to ''Shooter'' verses for example.

I dont think people say he fell off bcause of his 2009 songs, bcause he was still killing shit and making the competition get scared at this time (No Ceilings, anyone?). I think people started saying that when he came back from jail, from late 2010 'till now, and at this time he has started to sound like the rap game is boring to him, but when he wants to put this niqqas in their places he comeS with hard shit (Hustle Hard verse, 6'7''). With that said, I think he still able to do anything in his highest level, just need to find some motivation

I would defiantely say he fell off, C4 wasnt what I was expecting at all. I was expecting Wayne to come back and straight kill it, but that was false lol. I do really wanna see what Wayne is gonna sound like on ICFMF and LFLS 2 tbh, I think those 2 albums could be a Wayne we havent hesard in awhile. Juelz and Birdman ususally bring the best outta Wayne, especially Juelz. Hopefully Wayne will go back to that street shit

Compare all the intros of tha Carters. Carter 1: Walk In Carter 2: Tha Mobb Carter 3: 3 Peat/Im me Carter 4: Intro. You can tell he's not hungry anymore.

The C4 intro was probaly one of the worse songs I ever heard tbh from Wayne. I got a total of 3 plays on my Itunes lol. Worst intro to any album

I remember watching an interview where wayne mentioned how he changed his flow so people could understand what he was saying more, honestly this is where he started to go down hill, when wayne had that crazy spazzed out flow he was the illest. I wish he would just come out and say hes the illest again and really mean it. I wish he would be "the rapper eater" again the dude who "would kill your babies". wayne doesnt have that monster side to him anymore, and i dont know why.... i think it comes down to what most people have been saying, the hunger just isnt there. And as much as some of u hate it, he was better on drugs and im happy for him he cleaned his life up but its a fact when he was smokin blunts sippin lean and doin other drugs he was undoubtably the best rapper alive
