That song Kanye did was never heard before the awards so Wayne couldn't of wanted to do music like that before Kanye. You obviously don't know the definition of follower. Trendsetter is someone who do or wear something hot, follower is someone who seen another person do or wear something hot so they decide to do it to (obvious because they liked it but it still makes them a follower).
