I guess... there's the fact that there's too many punchlines and not enough "deep messages". Well, there might be, but the punchlines don't show it clear enough. Still, am I the only dude here who doesn't bitch about Carter IV not being everyone's Carter IV?

A lack of substance, its hard to defend him atm when he's putting out albums like these with lackluster quality. It just didn't live up to the hype. 2nd worst album he's ever made.

The fact that he wasnt on two of the songs. Also we heard about 5 of the songs before the album was released. The singles could have been chosen alot better. Also alot of the songs got old very very fast, tbh I havent listned to C4 in weeks. It just got very old and boring to me. I still bump C1 and C2 to this day, almost everyday but C4 just cant listen to it

Lil Wayne not being on some of the songs on HIS album. Just can't happen especially when you are of Wayne's caliber.

"Intro" and "abortion". Worst intro in Tha Carter series. Abortion was a huge letdown as I thought he was gonna have deep subject matter.

The Intro is the biggest disappointment. It is easily the worst introduction to a Tha Carter album.

Now for my overall thoughts, I was anticipating this album like crazy after hearing She Will I thought this album would be the best album of 2011 but I was wrong just goes to show you should never judge an album by one track, the album disappointed like crazy, Wayne rapped about the same stuff with NO originality or creativity all I heard was him rapping about kidnapping people, smoking weed, his goons, him being a blood, smashing girls and that’s about it over and over again, this album disappointed beyond belief I have no clue why its even selling as much as it did, This album also made me think it was I Am Not A Human Being 2 because most of the production and bars sounded like it belonged on I Am Not A Human Being, like I said no creativity. Wayne fans will buy ANYTHING with Lil Wayne on it even if it sounds this horrible, but it did have some good tracks like “Mirror” which I really liked, “She Will” and “It’s Good” other then that this is the worst Carter installment to be released

That John was on the album. If they wanted it on the album that badly they should've put it as a bonus track and Mirror on the actual album.
