How about the fact that he didn't talk about jail AT ALL on the album. How do you spend almost a year in jail and not say one word about it on your next album?? He could have easily made 30 songs about his experience but instead resorted to "these n***as pussy/camel toes".... Anyone remember that Light Up Remix Wayne did over the phone? Call me crazy, but that verse tops anything on C4.

1. The Intro. Everybody except Shyne pretty much out-did Weezy on that beat. Unfortunate.
2. NO FOCUS. The album was uneven. Songs like Nightmares of the Bottom, Mirror, President Carter, Novacane, and even How to Love were brilliant. Lil Wayne was saying something with his music, the sign of an artist. Megaman and So Special particularly disappointed me. Wasted a great hook by John Legend.
3. Lazy. Not so much the flow, but just the lyrics. Wayne is so clever, but I wish he would do something with it! Saying, "Have it your way, Burger King" would be witty in an everyday conversation, but using it on a track on an album like C4? Unbelievable.
4. Too much boasting. I know that's Wayne's style and I like it. However, the dude just got out of prison. That's a pretty f*cking humbling experience right there and he acted like it was nothing. Nothing at all. Something just bothered me about that. It seems like Drake was more upset by Wayne spending eight months in prison than Wayne was. That video blog he did about Steve Jobs was what I had hoped to hear on C4.

Sales only mean so much. Sh*t, Pitbull, the Black Eyed Peas, and Ke$ha sell a bunch of records, but that doesn't make them all-time greats. I know Wayne says he isn't the best anymore, but he still thinks of himself as a legend. But legends don't half-ass monumental albums like Wayne did on C4. It's not a bad album, but it's certainly not good.
