Do you guys think Wayne has put too much emphasis on double, triple and even quadruple syllable rhyming? Comparing his stuff on C4, S4TW, NC, his more recent stuff, to his older stuff like C2, C1, where he did rhymes like that but not every line. Hopefully you guys know what I'm tryin to get at here. Just a thought I had. Opinions?

I actually think its dope how he does that. He does it better than anyone else. It sounds great on features. But as far as albums, I would love to see him go back to his C2 style where he doesnt waste a line and has more subject matter.FRESH ON CAMPUS

Re: Question bout Wayne's flow.
basically the structure of his rhymes is what im tryin to say. On C4 and NC he says a line "...... and the last 2,3 or 4 syllables will rhyme." back in the day, there were more rhymes put into the sentence like interval rhyming and such kinda like eminem but not to his extent. (I'm not saying they have a similar flow lol) but what I'm tryin to get at is do you think this limits him to what he can say in his raps and not talk about real shit like he use to?

lol. youre terrible at explaining this.
but back then his flow was a lot more nimble.
as opposed to this blunt force flow that hes been using now.
thats come with the popularity of shit like bmf and mc hammer and all that ross shit.
but since he was rapping faster.
he could fit more rhymes in. and hes a gifted rhymer.
so thats where all that inside rhyming and the rest of his technique was on display.
as far it stopping him talking about real shit.
yeah. in a way i think it does.
because hes had to slow down a lot and become more lyrically accessible.
for his new larger audience. rhyming in top form like that isnt really the easiest to understand.
if its something that you arent accustomed to. on top of that. its all street shit. and thats not whos listening to his music anymore.
i think its a fact he can still do it tho.
id even argue that its what comes natural to him.
but i look at the sex faces remix and the smoke sumn remix.
and its obviously still there. he just doesnt get to use as much.
