Not trying to diss you, bruh, but this is what confuses me about this board.

To me, that verse is definitely lyrical. What is considered lyrical around here? When you're complaining about your life or something going on in the world? Do you have to complain and whine to be lyrical? Because to me, that verse is very much lyrical. It just seems like only rappers like Cole, Drake, and sometimes Wale get the lyrical stamp of approval nowadays.

lol. hes totally justified if that his favorite verse.
on the calm. that verse is a monster for all those reasons.

he rapped an entire conversation.
back and forth. and captured the flirty side.
the hesitation. how light it was. and more than anything.
how real it was. all meanwhile dropping in rhymes that come wayyy too easy.

Coulda swore drake said it was one of HIS favorite verses. Not Wayne best of all time..... But yea he right and Hollywood divorce is one of my favorite songs and a top 5 in favorite Wayne verses
