Re: Was Tha Carter IV really THAT bad?

On the whole I think it is a good record and deserves a good part of the praise it gets.
But, as a fan I was disappointed...

just listen to the delivery at 2:20-2:26 on Megaman.

After S4TW came out, my roommate said "Damn, man. Wayne's dead. I didn't want it to be true."
I disagreed since I liked 6'7' and other features and figured maybe Wayne would come back with C4. After hearing Andre3k's verse on C4, I was in shock. I didnt think I had ever heard anyone show up Wayne on his own album.
Moments like those are what made C4 feel disappointing to me.

    Wayne used to be superhuman.

      3,5, so i voted 3.

I Liked only 6'7, Novacane, Mirror, NOTB (live version), Megaman and Blunt Blowin.

2/5. It deserves nothing higher than that.

It wasn't bad. Only some fans who overreact all the time.
It had some bad lines, but so does many other albums. It's was a good album.
                  But still C2>>>>>>>>

It wasn't horrible, but it didnt match the expectations evry one had for it so it was basically a dissapointment to me

                    2/5

cheap beats, getting owned by almost all features, weak flows, gay punchlines, voice sucked sometimes (lol)

overall this is definitely a 4/5
THIS AIN'T NOTHING TO RELATE TO.

The beats did suck, but the only features were really on the Intro, Interlude, Outro. I'm pretty sure we established he sucked on that. The shit wasn't as bad as yaw say. I listened to it today and actually enjoyed it.

Though to be perfectly honest, I started it at Novacane, added Up Up & Away after I Got Some Money On Me, and after that I added Dear Anne, Told Y'all, We Be Back Soon, and Go Getter. Then I skipped the Intro and stopped listening when How To Hate came on...

Lil Wayne, Drake, Chance the Rapper, Skooly, Rich Homie Quan, 2 Chainz.
