For me should be:

But overall he should just have had more energy on most of the tracks and we wouldn't notice if the lyrics were really bad.

Nightmares of the Bottom is my fav song. He sounds bored on the track but the lyrics are fire. And if you want to hear emotion, just listen to the live version
