Both are my favourite artists but I mean come on...

If Wayne had to battle Eminem you actually think he would even have a slight chance?

I'm not hating but realisticly when it comes down to rap, Eminem is the GOAT. Don't get me wrong Wayne has many qualities that Eminem doesn't but in general, Eminem is the best rapper to ever touch a microphone. 100M worldwide sales...that's sayin' something.

I don't have a problem with you, Wish, but that was a dumbass comparison. The cypher isn't a freestyle either, so pitting that against Wayne throwing something together on a radio show(a video AGAINST Wayne at that) is kind of stupid. You could take almost any one of Wayne's 2 to 4 minute long "freestyle" songs and it'd go against that cypher quite nicely.

Also, Em's 100M worldwide means nothing in today's age. His albums still push numbers, but if he were to get relevent around the same time as Wayne, those numbers would be a lot lower...

Meh. They are two very different artists and I don't like comparing them at all. I prefer Lil Wayne, but I'm not saying he's better than Eminem. I just prefer keeping the two separate in my mind.

The comparasion was to put it into perspective for everyone who was posting for Wayne that in terms of raw rap, lyrical ability and lyrical complexitity and genius-ness that he cannot compare to Eminem. I'm not saying Wayne is bad, nor that there aren't areas where Weezy is better at than Eminem but that is not what I'm posting for or about.

If you don't like the Em freestyle I posted I'm sure I can find a off-the-dome one easily, because, let's face it, Eminem has no problem freestyling on the spot and still murdering it because he's a lyrical genius. You can have your opinion and i'll respect it but for me you cannot even compare them on a lyrical basis because Eminem by far exceeds the calibre of every rapper in the game today, and every rapper to touch a microphone. In my opinion, of course.

And as for sales? They mean even more in this day and age actually since the CD industry is on a yearly decline. Don't act like Eminem isn't selling these days, he's still out sold C4 every week and he even beat C4's worldwide first week sales. Sales prove a lot really. Micheal Jackson didn't sell how much he has for being wack, The Beatles haven't sold 1 billion records worldwide from being wack. Same goes for Eminem, he has not sold 100M units worldwide from being wack.

Eminem didn't get signed to his 1st label til he was 20 and had shitty grades

What I was saying was the comparison was completely one sided and biased. And honestly, while freestyling is a wonderful gift, it's not the end all be all of ability when it comes to rap, or the game would be a totally different scene.

There are things Em excel at, and things Wayne excel at, but your comparison was just kinda poor, bro.

And as far as sales go, I was saying that back when Em was going diamond, it was a lot more common. That kind of thing isn't happening today. And while Em would undoubtedly outsell Wayne today(he's a white rapper with wild subject matter), it wouldn't be nearly as crushing as it seems comparing their overall numbers.

Eminems a beast rapper but honestly id prefer to listen to lil wayne cause yer thats just what i prefer to listen to eminems a good rapper and so is lil wayne i listen to both and i enjoy both so yer hehe But im a lil wayne fan oviously haha
