Wayne basically stated he has retirement on his mind. I think its great he wants to be a better father. But I also think he's retiring somewhat "early" to leave the game on a good note. Maybe he's running out of things to rap about. Maybe he doesn't wanna end up like Diddy. Doing pointless things to stay barely relevant. Any thoughts?

He will never be gone from the game, even if he does retire by 35 like he has said he will we still have a good 5-6 years of him and a lot can happen in that time, I mean look at the change we have had only in the last 3 years. Still like I said even if he does retire he will not just stop cold turkey, I imagine he would still do the odd feature here and there and still be involved in some way in doing some things! Wayne is hip hop he will never be just retired from it, he is in it forever regardless. -

My thought is, he will stop doing full albums like the Carter series, but will keep being featured in other's songs. Also, since he is constantly recording songs that dont make the cut for Carter albums, but still get put on many of his mixtapes, I can foresee him releasing a bunch of albums of his unreleased tracks. May not be free though...
I imagine he has toooons of tracks that are unreleased.Comment
