C3... is also a classic IMO. The first rap album I've ever listened to.
    New to rap music, huh?

I was only 15 when C3 was out.
But 3 years after that, and I got a huge load of rap music on my iTunes. Even the so-called "real hip hop" underground hipster shit.

C2 is without a doubt a classic in my eyes. That album really solidified to other rappers that Wayne is that dude. I mean he made a song "Best Rapper Alive" and not one artist dissed him about that song. Plus during that time nobody was fucking with that album or Weezy in general.

C3 is not my favorite album, but for many people I guess they say its a classic becuase it "saved" hip-hop with sales and all that, but again I wasnt a huge fan of C3. It did have some good ass songs though like Shoot Me Down, Tie My Hands, Playin With Fire, etc.

My opinion: Original C3 defiantely would have been a classic

Tha Carter II is a classic. Tha Carter III isn't a classic tha hype was epic tho.... Outcome wasn't wat ppl expected.... Tha Original Leaked Carter III would have been and All-Time Great

No, those weren't Tha Carter III's biggest hits. Tha Carter III's biggest hits were Lollipop, A Milli, Got Money, and Mrs. Officer. Mr. Carter was not a "biggest hit;" however, the "biggest hits" aren't the songs that make C3 a classic. Songs like Tie My Hands, Shoot Me Down, 3 Peat, Let the Beat Build, Dr. Carter, Mr. Carter, and Playing With Fire easily cement C3 as a classic.

wasn't even thinking about got money or tie my hands, true true

i definitely heard mr carter on the the radio and wayne even performed mr carter on mtv unplugged, i don't think wayne would have done that if wayne didnt think it was a classic
