Today I listened to the song Damian Marley ft Lil Wayne - The Mission (Remix) once again in a while and I recognized the lyrics from fortune teller in the song The Mission (the lyrics like everybody want to see the fortune teller and she tell them a fortune and a future.)

In my opinion the version of The Mission sounds better, but lately I found another song too (I Know Your Name from The Alchemist ft. Wayne Travis McCoy) in my collection of lil wayne music and he re-used the lyrics and the beat on Tha Carter IV's Abortion.

I just want to share this with you, because I found this interesting and I want to ask ya'll if one of you know other songs where he re-used his lyrics and not just one punchline.

Its not Waynes fault. Its people renaming songs, like Donks from LilWeezyAna. I think theres a song with the same lyrics called Santa Clause or some shit. Same with Throw some Keys on that.

Actually in the cases of "The Mission (Remix)" and "Dey Know (Remix)" the verses were 'original' when they came out but after one year or two the songs for the which the verses were originally recorded came out ("Fortune Teller" and "First Place Winner").
These two last songs were recorded before the two first but were unreleased. So Wayne's team took the verses and added (lot of) autotune on it to hide the fact that they were not recorded on the beats of the new songs. So these verse were used and sold and not lost and wasted... "easy money".

I hope that you understand what I'm saying.
