About 75% truth tbh.....Artist and the Labels play as much of a role in an artist selling out as the fans....Wayne didn't start to sell records because he sold out, he sold out because he wanted to. Carter III sold a million records on the basis of his dope music. The fame got to his head..and he tested us..he said..let me release a rock album, a wack album and a completely horrible carter album and see if these dumb mother fuckers still buy it...well he did it and we bought it....Rappers now a days are lazy as fuck....Easy E wasn't a great rapper, but he was a pioneer, just like Birdman, Diddy, and Dr.Dre.
