thats the underground counterpart to lollipop.
thats the song that indie white people got a hold of and could understand.
he was rapping slow, lazily and it worked, after that, its been in decline.

    waynes smart for that tho.
you gotta be cool to the cool white people.
before you can pop off with the bubble gum crowd.
he went it at from all sides. idk if it was intentional.

but that style demanded so little from him.
and it worked so well with a larger audience.

lol. id be happier if the song was never made.
Because of how the song is, it appealed to many teenagers who used drugs, not his older fans as much. That's what you're saying right?

Thank you. Wayne started his downfall when the Dedication 3 was released. Since then, his verses have been eh to average with a few great verses in between.

You should be ashamed if you're following me on twitter and retweeting a nigga.

You should be ashamed if you're not reblogging my posts on tumblr

        i mean the content too.

he was talkinga bout drugs that white people could relate too.
and was hardly rapping while he was at it, so they could understand.

he was slowed down and spaced out and white ppl get on this.
like oh my god hes like a black jimmy morrison or something. wow.

thats when you get wayne realizing like yo. this is way easier.
than what i was doing before, and it could be way bigger.

thats why in that sway interview he talks about.
saying the same things in fewer words.

theres a difference between concise and dumbing it down.
wayne in his prime, never really wasted words, even it was 12-15 a bar.

now hes down to like 6-8. and its mostly bullshit.
thats just clever enough for white people to think that theyre cool if they catch it.

and i dont think that started happening consistently.
until after i feel like dying. that slow diluted style started there.

I'm not arguing it lol. He hasn't done a respectable rap project that didnt dissapoint more than a bit since No Ceilings. S4TW was cool but too short.

I think the major change happened when the original C3 got leaked. When he re did C3 he went more towards to the mainstream route ad he hasn't looked bal since. Wayne even said himself he would never go mainstream on Tha Mobb "Crossover whatever, mainstream no"

This is what I originally meant to post. That's the same change I saw myself and it is very true.

true, and it was a bit too "soft" imo

Rollin' came close to Drought 3 era though...
THIS AIN'T NOTHING TO RELATE TO.

i blame a lot of that on beat selection.
cos lyrically, while he wasnt at fit as he ould be,
it was a bunch of a gun and drug and whatever else talk.

i figure if it he had better beats to work with.
sorry for the wait couldve been serious.
