Well, I got back and I'm quite disappointed to be honest. The whole show was exactly like the one in America (including the RIP Michael Jackson...which is rather late now) and I hate his band. Wtf is up with that rock-shit man. Ok, Rebirth is coming up; fine. But why waste a hard beat like the one from "A Milli" by putting in some guitars in stead of a subwoofer? That sucked. That went on for every song.

Other than that, Weezy didn't have any special contact with the audience. He just did his thing and left when he was done. He didn't even say that it was good to be back in Amsterdam, he didn't apologize about his cancelling in july, etc. He was having fun, but he was like a robot performing.

Meh....everyone in the room said he was much better last year.

Explosions?! Flame thrower?! No. None of that. Just Lil' Wayne standing still, rapping in the mic, while his band was raping the beat.

Also, "Shoot me Down" and "Let the Beat Build" - 2 of my favs, were totally ruined as well. They used the Shoot me Down beat but sang "Shooter" on it. Original and all, but it didn't sound good. Let the Beat Build didn't have the amazing drop. In stead, it was some lame guitar-crap and some keyboard-tapping. *sigh*.

It simply frustrates me when I think of it. It could've been SO much better...

I was there too. the whole trip started very bad for me: I'm from germany and found an organzier who sold tickets including a trip by bus to amsterdam. after I was waiting 7!!! hours til the bus arrived in frankfurt (GER) the organizer told me he made a mistake and my ordered VIP Ticket was lost!! he gave me the normal ticket of somebody who coudnt come to the concert. that pissed me off! but when the show started I forgot all the anger because it was sooo fucking amazing! the rock a millie was the bomb. the whole crowd was freaking out! and when he started rappin "kush" everybody was smoking weed this was so awesome. Weezy did grate on stage. Weezy da best

Are you sure we went to the same concert? When "Kush" played, some guys lit their cigarette but the security was on their ass within 10 seconds. I was VIP though, so I couldn't see the security in the normal crowd.

And uhm, freaking out on "A Milli" wasn't because of the rock, but because of the song being the song. I talked to some people afterwards, noone liked the rockversion. I guess you're an exception.

EDIT: I just read an article in a newspaper here about the concert and it says the exact same thing I said: Lil' Wayne tried to combine rock with rap, but it was too much rock to please the 'Weezy'-fans.

I'm talking about it in the sense of trying to get a personal connection with the crowd by telling them a story or something. He didn't do anything of that. He performed and that's it. He didn't even do an encore man...

when Kush started evrybody WAS smoking weed
we all know the smoking stop in Clubs and shit
but weed ain't legal nor illegal in holland
if they want the smoking stop to work for weed to they first need to legalize weed and then make it illegal in clubs
so when you smoke only the weed they can't do shit
we did and the guards just walked right in front of us but it was cool that way
