OK maybe that wasn't a good example. But even if it's Carter IV, there's still a similarity between these albums: they sell more if the hits are big. In this case, the hits of IANAHB2 just weren't as big as the others. No Worries and Love Me weren't as huge as Wayne's past hits, their videos didn't gain mad views.

Were not talking about the Carter series. They sell regardless. Im talkin about his random albums like Rebirth and IANAHB. IANAHB1 only had Right Above It on the charts and it was there for only 3 weeks. IANAHB1 sold like 150k digitally first week and then like 250k when the hardcopy came out a week later...with ZERO promotion and interviews. It just shows how bad Wayne's popularity has gotten in the rap game...its really sad :/

This is selling better than Rebirth did lmao
+ Drop the World peaked #18, didn't break top 10 (2x Platinum though)
IANAHB2 had 2 Platinum singles (No Worries & Love Me), & a top 10 hit

Or it's because people would rather get music online than buy the albums themselves in stores/on iTunes, and because IANAHB isn't a highly anticipated album.

Not only are your numbers wrong, but you're buggin if you think Wayne NEEDS promotion. It's selling at about the same rate as his other non-Carter albums. And the album had a little promotion. Lets not say zero. Plus he was locked up, soon to be released at that point and that was his first hip hop album since his breakout C3.

What's sad is how people actively look for things to compare and complain about with this guy.

Lil Wayne, Drake, Chance the Rapper, Skooly, Rich Homie Quan, 2 Chainz.
