he was put on probation November 6th, 2010. 2 days after he was released.

so he might of recorded a couple of bars in that small window of time, but it is unlikely.

he will be off probation November 6th, 2013.

He recorded Blunt Blowin on Monday the 8th of November, and his probation started on the 6th, so he definitely wasn't on the good kush when he recorded that.

          XXL Interview with Develop:

XXL: "Were you in the studio when he was laying vocals?

Develop: Hell yeah. That was the first night. He came home, I think it was on a Thursday, then they had the party Sunday in Miami, the welcome home party. And then Monday was the first day he was back in the studio. So that Monday when I got in, he was recording I think “Fire Flame (Remix).” There were a bunch of people there. People sending beats. People playing beats. Everyone was walking in and out. It was a happy moment. We were all excited to see him. A lot of people played him stuff before me, and I guess he wasn’t ecstatic about anything in particular, so he asked me what I had, I was like I got this, and that was the first joint. He just heard it, went crazy and was like, “Alright, this is what I’m gonna record to. It was pretty much his first song when he came out of jail. We were there for two days working on that record."

His drugs cut his vision of his surroundings and focused his zoom on his lyrics. Nothing got in his way. There's no more focus antmore so, there's no more good lyrics.

The drugs did make him more creative.

But if he began sticking to the topic while still making metaphors (that connects to the topic) it wouldn't be that repeative. It feels like he just follows the same receipe every damn time instead of using the subject to get ideas flowing.
