Example: let say.....I really fuck with Soulja Boy, he's my favorite...but I realize that Nas is way better @ rapping

    right?

I understand your points though...C2 sounds way cleaner than Drought 3...mastering and all that shit plays a huge role here
i see what you're saying..but Mixtapes and Albums arent really easy to compare..my preference is really all i have to go on

For example, can you really compare lyrics from a mixtape to lyrics from an album? You have so much more freedom on mixtapes to just rap about whatever...

but when you think about it...Da Drought 3 is one of the GOAT mixtapes..C2 isnt a GOAT album..

    id still take C2

The borders should be illegal instead of the people, who were here before the bible and all of its sequels

DD3 IMO, because i can listen to that from front to back with out skipping any songs. the carter 2 is good and has some classics but i think C2 is way over rated on this site. like someone said it was his best cd and all of yall just ran with it. I think Tha Carter is better then Carter 2 just IMO.

And why is DD3 such low quality? If any one has the highest quality can you please hook it up with a DL link, i have the one from datpiff and when ever i burn it to a cd it seems like the volume is so low. Thanks!tunechi.gif
they said i couldn't play football i was too small
          they said i couldn't play basketball i wasn't tall
they said i couldn't play baseball at all
& now everyday of my life I BALL !

i mean they both suck lyrically..but does sorry 4 the wait have anything that sounds like How to Love? or Mirror..even President Carter and Nightmares of the bottom have that Album sound lyrically..How to Hate... you just dont have these type of songs on mixtapes..(Well WAYNES mixtapes anyway)... with albums you have to make certain records..with mixtapes you have absolutely no topic or theme which is alot easier to do..

only song on S4TW that has some kind of topic is Marvins Room..

LMAO. Thanks for the thanks. Nigga, Dedication 1 was one of the tapes that made other MC's look out for Wayne, and that he was no joke. That tape has some of his best rhymes out of his whole career.

Dedication 1 is up there but I'd put Dedication 2 (Cannon is a crazy verse) over 1, and Drought 3 over both of them. Of course my opinion but back on topic, these are really hard to compare because the production on Carter II is so much better then the 128kbps DD3 mixtape. I'd listen to both end to end any day but I'd probably go with DD3 because every single track is fire and the flow/bars make me forget about the sound quality. Really unmatchable as far as mixtapes go.

                    Dedication II>>>>>>>>>>>DD3.

Carter II is leading up to his peak and DD3 is just coming off his peak.
C2 wins cause of the original production.
