Reasons why Lil Wayne is the/one of the best rappers

To sum up why he's the best for me it would be work ethic. Even though he might be putting the odd bad song lately he's in the studio making music. Yes I know he's spent a lotta time on the skate shit but prior to that and more recently he been home again (when I say home I mean studio).

He puts out so much more music than other rappers and I'm saying this expecting to get trashed by almost everybody but without Wayne where would hip-Hop be now? I know a lot of the new rappers say they get their inspiration from the likes of Nas, Jay, Ye and the rest of the experienced rappers but we all know Wayne is a huge factor as to why they started to.

I always get pissed when people hate on Wayne, but what are some points to validate how good he is? I've thought about a couple off the top of my head and I'm looking to find more.

-3 Grammy's (Doesn't he have more than Tupac, Biggie, and someone else combined? I remember reading that)
-Sold 1 mil C3 first week
-I remember him breaking an iTunes digital sale in 4 days w/ C4 CRUSHING KTT
-He has a ton of BET awards (somewhat irrelevant imo)
-He has like 5-6 Billboard awards, including Best Male Artist (2x) & Top Album (2x)
-Not related to rap, but he also broke that Facebook Most Likes in 24 hours to show his popularity

The reasons he is the best ain't all these awards and records and shit. Its because he made so many great songs so consistently and that he could rap about anything. He was so creative and had such a great flow. Even tho he ain't in his prime anymore he is still better than most rappers in the game. He's just one of the best rappers of all time. Its ridiculous that everybody slept on him when he was great and dickride him nowadays.

Been saying that to a lot of people nowadays... That's why a lot of people don't care that he's not putting out as much music of the same quality now because they weren't listening to him when he was.
