Meaning behind CIV

Alot of people say that Tha Carter IV was wack because it had no meaning and it was a "mediocre compilation of random punchlines". I dont kno if im the only person but there is definitely meaning behind songs on carter iv and overall meaning to the album. I think lil wayne wanted us to kno that he was aware of the bad things going on in the world but he is just living life and having fun now. Maybe its just me.
