I gotta disagree there. This beat was too up tempo and epic to talk over it like he did. If he made this song a few years ago he would have went off on this hook. It's just lazy imo. Anyone can talk over a track like this with those weak bars.

The chorus is decent but like cas said, the beat is far too epic for Weezy's lack of enthusiasm in his voice.
