Question About the BET Hip-Hop Awards and Wayne

Was yesterday just the BET Hip-Hop Awards Red Carpet? Or was it the actual awards show, making it a pre-recording?

If it was the actual award show, then I'm pretty upset that Wayne won't be performing, nor Drake. If not, then thats good, cuz I definitely want to see a performance by Wayne, or maybe even a collabo performance for Forever.

EDIT: Just read DJ Drama's Twitter page, and he said that it was the rehearsals.

Yesterday was the BET Hip Hop Awards, and Lil Wayne was overseas so he didn't make it.

I dont know how many awards Wayne won. But heres what i found on the internet.

MVP of the Year: Jay-Z
Rookie of the Year: Drake
Best Hip-Hop Collabo: T.I. & Rihanna � �Live Your Life�
DJ of the Year: DJ AM
I Am Hip-Hop Award: Ice Cube

So that leaves Wayne with the chance of winning Best Live Performer, Lyricist of the Year, Track of the Year ( with YM ), Hustler of the Year, and the Made-You-Look award. Which im pretty sure he has the better shot at winning all of these awards..

It was not the rehearsals though, why would they have had the red carpet and all?

Skim pretty much got everything right and the awards will be airing on BET on Tuesday the 27th. I think I read it on the official website. Don't know what time tho and it sucks that they already said who's winning what awards so now I'll only be watching for any good performances if any are even worth watching.
