Na what this dude is saying is everyone is getting it mixed up...
He never once said in the interview that he was retiring... Nor giving up rap for skating... He said rap is currently on the back burner which it has been for a while with skating coming first. Which means skating is coming first and it has been already for a while.
But all articles online and news etc are blowing it up as if he said he is quitting rap... But he isn't nor did he say that. He just confirmed what we all currently know to be true, he is more into skating atm than he is rap.
In regards to fans having a break from him and him having a break he was just talking in regards to him not being as consistant as he has always been and skating having priority over rap. Thats all. Not he is gonna have a break, not he is stopping, not he is retiring. He is still on everyones tracks, but skating is coming first which is why we have got like what? 3 tracks from him as singles this year? Thats all he meant.
People think far too much into these things.Comment

nahh, what he said was being confused. he's still in the game but he's more into skateboarding now. It is HUGE news because everyone now thinks hes retiring.. i even seen posts on facebook saying "thank god lil wayne retired" he needs to clearify things asap

Anyway blogs will do anything for some hot news... Weezy might need to clarify it because i even saw it on some mass credible websites.
