It's just who he is and I don't think he even thinks he could manage to fully leave the game.

Now that I think about it... if he did take this "hiatus" from rap, I could picture him at his family dinner table freestyling out of nowhere...

Yeah LMAO at free-styling at the dinner table with Regina on the chorus. I hope he still have a couple of albums in him, yeah im sure he is not ready to call it quit too, success must be like a drug.. word to this lines on Drop the World "The top gets higher the more that I climb, The spot gets smaller, and I get bigger"...

There are 2 things that made him the Best Rapper Alive.

      1. His passion and love for music

      2. His weed (believe it or not)

Let me explain now. When i say "Best Rapper Alive" i mean when no one doubted his skill as one of the best in the game, which is late late 2005- late 2009.

EDIT: I tried to type an explanation of what i meant but i ended up spending too much time and realized it would be an essay lol..so ill just leave it at that.

I always used to do that haha... but yeah..he doesn't say he's the best anymore and hence it shows more in his passion towards his lyrics. I'm not complaining but that's a clear factual observation of how when he said he was the best, he proved it. When he doesn't say he is or when asked he says someone else then clearly that reflects in his music because he doesn't feel he has a title to live up to.

I'm definitely hyped to see the next change in Wayne...and that'll be that first day he's off probation and no doubt will be back to smoking weed a lot. Not syrup but weed..

I wouldn't say probation started it. I think jail started it as he had no drugs so he could actually think clear and consider his life and shit.
But yeah all this bs is the reason Wayne stopped doing what he was doing.

Yeah syrup had no affect to his music, jus his voice. He quit syrup during No Ceilings recording...and No Ceilings was still fire . Proves Syrup had no affect on him. Its just that his love for skateboarding replaced his love for music...Thats the main reason, weed is the second. I hope he skates until his probation is done and then starts his music career again

I'm not sure whether it's logical to say that Probation alone has changed him, or is the main reason for his change.
Probation definitely did change him. Whether that change had anything to do with his rapping style or not is hard to tell, he was bound to change his rapping style either way eventually.
I do, however, think that maturity has played a partial role in his change. However, I think that only applies to him maturing as a person rather than as a rapper. I mean the dude has been rapping for like what, 20+ years now? He's probably already rapped about everything that comes to mind, and now he's just filling the blanks with shits & giggles.

Well he did record it in like one night, so if he did quit the night he recorded, maybe he took a sip of the drank one last time and recorded while he was still high off of it ^_^

i dont think thats true lol, im pretty sure he used all of 2009 on it since he released no album that year and he was doin rock. So he gave us that to satify the rap fans

Weezy stopped sippin in 09. Why y'all keep bringing it up. No Ceilings was lean free and a godly mixtape. He just needs his weed and pills back.

Yea but he recorded it the same time he recorded Rebirth. And it came before Rebirth. No Ceilings released Sept 27 2009, Rebirth released Feb 2 2010 (my birthday). You can tell he quit syrup before he recorded No Ceilings since his voice is high pitched, very different than C3.
