Pimp'n Says: *Checks fav song & album* Oh Ok. CII was da last real "Tha Carter" album hence Walk In/Fly In, Inside/Carter II, Walk Out/Fly Out. Carter 3 & 4 completely aborted da whole theme of da album series.

c3 songs had more diversity to them but c2 best songs were much harder
to me 3peat and playing with fire are the only ones that came close to that flow on c2 with intro/interlude/outro, best rapper alive, and fireman
both are great albums and made wayne who he is today
so i guess to answer the question i would say c2 because it doesn't have lollipopLast edited by IgetMoney; 09-01-2012, 01:38 AM.

Personally C2 is my favorite. Every song on there Wayne killed it, there wasn't one bad song. Wayne's lyrics, flow, and his hunger at that time really made him the "Best Rapper Alive". There was also great production on C2. T-Mix and Batman gave Wayne classic beats on C2.
C3 is a classic album without a doubt, I just didn't like the fact that is when Wayne headed mainstream with Lollipop, Got Money, etc. But besides that, the songs on C3 were very good, he was more mature and his emotion in some of the songs are crazy. He used some great punchlines that made you actually rewind and make sure you heard that right lol.
C2 > C3

i prefer carter 2 because each song had a great story and was deep to me and 3 was just built around hype because all his mixtapes and features that fueled the album salesDownload beats and instrumentals @ instromusic.com
