In honor of the fourth installment of The Dedication series, I'm going to be reviewing some of my favorite Lil Wayne projects. If you like this review and you want me to review more, then I will be glad to
Tha Carter II [2005]

01 - Tha Mobb [5/5] - A great freestyle over a Heatmakerz beat, really good way to kick off the album. One of my favorite Lil Wayne songs of all time.
02 - Fly In [5/5] - A three part track (Fly In/Carter 2/Fly Out) very similar to Tha Carter's Walk In/Inside/Walk Out. Same beat, same style, and cut throat lyrical display in all three.
03 - Money On My Mind [4.5/5] - Great hook, good lyrics, and a banging beat. The smooth, soulful dark sounds really show what the album is going to be like, as far as production is concerned.

04 - Fireman [3/5] - Me personally, i'm not that crazy for this track. I like the metaphors and hooks, but I like the original unreleased version better. It's not a bad track, but not one of my favorites.
05 - Mo Fire [3.5/5] - This track gives me mixed feelings. I like the reggae vibe and the lyrics, but... I don't know. Nothing wrong with it, but my opinions are mixed.
06 - Skit [No Rating]

07 - Best Rapper Alive [5/5] - Call it conceited, call it arrogant, call it whatever. We all know Weezy has his weaknesses and strengths and we know he's not the best, but he is a living legend, like it or not. But, let's get to the track. This song songs epic and the guitars in the background really tie it together. One of the top Lil Wayne tracks of all time.
08 - Lock And Load (Feat. Kurupt) [5/5] - The first feature on the album. This track has a really intimidating vibe from it, and the hook from Kurupt really makes it a likeable track.
09 - Oh No [5/5] - A no hook mixtape-ish track that has a great sample and beat.
10 - Grown Man (Feat. Currency)[4/5] - At first, I didn't care for this song and I would usually skip it, but now I like it. The soft, smooth melody really is a break from the hardcore cut throat type songs. Though I prefer the Lights Out song with the same name, this track is a classic with a good verse from Currency.
11 - Skit [No Rating]
12 - Hit Em' Up [4/5] - A pretty dope track that ends off the first half of the album with a low tone. It has a good hook and for some reason, gets me pumped up.
13 - Carter II [5/5] - Wayne congratulates you on making it this far, and reminds you that it's still Tha Carter II, people. And if you've read this far, thank you

14 - Hustler Musik [5/5] - It doesn't get any better than this song. Anti-Wayners will even say this song is good. I love this track, it's a classic that's really full of nostalgic memories, for me atleast.
15 - Receipt [5/5] - A very interesting story about Lil Wayne and his lover (most likely referring to Trina). It has a great sample and really shows the soft side to your favorite rapper.

16 - Shooter [5/5] - A track that should make you fear the south after hearing it (sadly, there are still rappers like Waka Flocka that disgrace it). Wayne goes on to tell you to stop being rapper racists, and proves that the south has great rappers (not just Scarface and Outkast). The instrumentals and vocals were from Robin Thicke's Oh Shooter from his album A Beautiful World. I love this track, and while some may not agree with me, this track is classic.
17 - Weezy Baby (Feat. Nikki) [4/5] - It could be debated that this track is filler, but I think it fits perfectly here. It has a cool sounding beat with a nice hook from Nikki. There's not much wrong with this track, not great, but good.
18 - Skit [No Rating]
19 - I'm a Dboy [4/5] - A really upbeat track with an OK verse from Baby. But, I feel this song would have been better if it were a little bit earlier, or maybe that's just me...
20 - Feel Me [5/5] - Very awesome track with a great beat and great concept. The lyrics and storytelling makes this underrated track a classic.
21 - Get Over (Feat. Nikki) [5/5] - A tear jerking, emotional track with a nice hook from Nikki. Lil Wayne tells an interesting track about his dark experiences and choices in his life in this track. I really do like this track, I feel it's slightly underrated IMO. Great way to end the flow of songs.
22 - Fly Out [5/5] - This here... Is the end of Tha Carter II... People. Sad to see it end, but if it were longer, I feel it would've been a flop. Such a great project by Lil Wayne, with exceptional production, good lyrics, and overall, just a really great album.

Best Tracks on the album:
1. Hustler Musik
2. Tha Mobb
3. Shooter
4. Feel Me
5. Best Rapper Alive
Overall: 72/80 Classic
Let me know what you think of this album and this review. And thank you if you read the whole thing or atleast skimmed through it xD
Next up is going to be the one that will get me a lot of haters... Tha Carter III
