Is Lil Wayne Lyrical? In terms of story, punchlines?

Personally, I think he only has had a good flow. I mean most of the times he just ramble random words to rhyme, but nobody can make rambling sound as good as him. Although his stuff prior jail was bit above average lyricallydid and was not necessary a puchline rapper. But it is now worse, no substance, meaningless puchlines, repetation of wack lines, no story telling etc. Insistence in attempting to make every line a punchline is his demise though. Most of his current stuff is centred around ' that pussy, eat that pussy,pop that pussy for a real nigga,eat it, twist you like a rubix

Is Lil wayne lyrical? Yes.
Is Lil wayne a lyricist? Yes, BUT just not as Great as top tier lyricist. Wayne has, over the years, focused more on wit, delivery and flow then the lyricism he displayed on carter 2.

He DEFINITLEY needs to tell more stories. hes has a few in his discograhy but i feel like that would be refreshing: TO hear an album that has 1/4 or even 1/2 stories by lil wayne on a variety of topics.
