What beats you think Wayne does best on? What types of vibes usually has him do better than average? In one interview I think it was with Katie Couric, he said that he listens to the beat first and then that sets what the lyrics/mood of the song would be.

I think for albums he does best on ones with samples like in Something You Forgot, Receipt, etc... Then mixtapes he just goes off on ones that probably are fast-paced or easier for him to switch flows up, but he normally kills his mixtapes.

So best kinds of beats on albums? And what about mixtapes?

Refreshing from the ordinary Lex Luger, Drumma Boy, Mike Wil, Jahlil l type beats you always hear nowadays.

He uses classics The Runners, Bangladesh, Cool & Dre, ect....
