  • Reasons why Tunechi isn't Weezy anymore... Anyone else?

Does anyone else feel like wayne is still a premiere rapper in the game? I think wayne is still the witty, smooth, persuasive, energetic artist he has always been. He can still rap as good as he did back when the Carter series and the Carter III sessions, but what good reason does he have to keep doing that. He's probably still the biggest "name" in hip-hop, whether that would be given on a feature, a mixtape, or a new album. ITS LIL WAYNE!!! He Has millions on top of millions, he trying this skaking thing, whether its for life or not, managing a new clothing line, and can't really "fall off" from being a premiere artist. Hes already a household name who doesnt have to rap better to have the same income... wouldn't you do a lot less at work if you can and be paid the same???

Just my opinion... Curious to hear all of your reasons why you think he isnt the same

        - Needs more weed, whatever he lights up currently isn't that... He's on probation, he knows better
        - Needs more syrup (this isn't needed but this is for those that liked his deep voice better
        - Where he's living... If he moves back to New Orleans I feel that could change things. His environment probably plays a role
        - YM... These niggas changed him. He changed once Drake and Nicki was signed believe it or not
        - His "yes men". Mack Maine been with him since when Wayne was best, he could tell him how much he's changed but you know he won't
        - No major events affected his life like Hurricane Katrina has
        - Nigga needs a break... been rapping for 22 years. That's like all of Drake's life
        - He basically has it all already... He's on top of rap and will be for a while. Once he notices he's slipping, he'll probably be hungry for the top again

the thing that stands out to me about weezy and tunechi is their interviews the 08 wayne or weezy was by far the most difficult man in the world to interview. like during the carter doc. when he ended an interview for bringing up poetry. Now he's so much more chill with people. i kinda miss that arrogant wayne

He can't come back to what he was.
                        It will never happen.
Even when he does get back on that good weed, will never be the same
