That's not really a good argument. The murder rate was high in N.O back then and still is. The murder rate is high in chicago nowadays. Even if they were different, that still doesn't take away the fact that when you're in the ghetto as a child shit like this happens whether it's in 97/98 or now.

but the reason i said that was because when wayne was talking that shit when he was 13, people shrugged it off, but nowadays there is so much fucked shit going on with kids being killed and kids doing the killing, when i looked at the news yesterday i think i seen about 17 stories about kids getting shot up and shit, that's why i think people are getting on chief keef & lil mouse because it's getting ridiculous.
