  • Da Drought III or Dedication II?

I enjoy threads like this... It lets me get to know some of you guys more. So, i'm curious. In my opinion, these are both Wayne's best mixtapes of all time and they're top 2 for me. Which do you guys think is better? I enjoy Da Drought III a lot (I think it's his finest till this day) but Dedication II was a classic too. I'll have a poll up where you guys can vote. And put why you like whichever tape better, please.

    Da Drought 3.

It's hard to explain why, but I just prefer it. Maybe because there were more tracks and better instrumentals, even though Wayne lyrically kileld both tapes.

Dedication 1 is superior than both.

All opinions. The first Dedication is what made rappers fear Wayne. It changed a lot of things and really made Wayne hot back when it dropped. But, out of the two in the thread, which do you prefer?

If we are comparing the two mixtapes here, Dedication 2 is the superior mixtape. In terms or lyrics, metaphors and the like, Dedication 2 has much more clever and complex lines. Da Drought 3 is right up there with D2, D1 and Suffix, but If I had to convince an anti Wayne person to listen, I'd give him D2 to listen first as Da Drought 3 has a little filler in it. I would want the listener to get to hear everything at the best possible quality.

I'd like to see a Prefix vs Suffix thread, a YMTM vs LWA thread, and a DD1 vs DD2 in the future.

Ight, bet. Thing is though, how many people on the forum have listened to those tapes?

You will see once you post. Look at your C1 vs C2 thread. Also, you owe us reviews on mixtapes. SQ1 - D4.

Dedication 2. The mastering is better and I enjoy the songs more. The beats appeal to me more, and the Wayne has some nice lyrics(Georgia Bush, Dedication 2) I love the sound of " This What I Call Her." I'm not really a huge fan of DD3 like everyone else. It's good to me
